This is a great volume to have to hand if you are playing at any wedding or other celebratory occasion. There is a great mix of songs here, from classics such as Elton Joh’s Your Song and Billy Joel’s Just the Way You Are, to the more folk-based Down by the Sally Gardens and Greensleeves, so there are plenty of ways to change up the mood if you are playing for any length of time. This is a wonderful book if you have a family occasion and would like to be able to include younger members in any music making activities you may be planning. There are plenty of possibilities here, with easy solos which could also be played by doubling the line on another instrument, a selection of slightly more difficult duets and some accompanied pieces with both instruments pitched at an easier level. You could even include singers as the words are also included. Perfect for weddings, wedding anniversaries and celebrations in general, this book is endlessly useful and represents great value.
